Love love loved it. All the things to look at, which were antiques was pretty cool. The food came quick nd you could taste the freshness

Foods good, more nostalgic for me then anything else. Used to go here when I was younger on Sundays. Got the shrilly omelette and they forgot to give me toast

Nice little restaurant with a retro feel. Very charming decor that probably goes back 50+ years, frequented by locals. Food was pretty good too.

The best diner in the Hamptons. An amazing family establishment. They make a fantastic milkshake, too! Their chef salad is my favorite. I come here multiple times a week- love you, Eckarts!

For starters, there are very few breakfast/luncheon spots west of the canal that have not been "Hamptonized" in attitude and pricing. My partiality to Eckart's is age-old since I have been patronizing Eckart's for over half a century which makes me a new comer since Eckart's has been in existence since the early 1900s. The decor has not changed in the last 100 years - fortunately. However, the newly-created menu specials are culinary delights in addition to the typical breakfast/luncheon items. The food gets better and better with each visit!

Great little place with fantastic food and good prices !!! They do NOT accept credit cards, but they have an ATM machine, and they'll give u access to your own money for a $3 fee. That was a bit upsetting and cheap. Cost them a star for that. Soups are great, and the sandwiches were also very good.

Always love the food and service. A very local and longstanding community flair to the place. Highly recommend .

The food is expensive, not very tasty, the portions are very small and definitelynot worth the price. The service was okayish, our server didn't bother asking us again for refills or make sure we're doing okay

I love the appeal of this place. Vintage retro just a simple place to go and have some eggs and coffee and read the paper in the morning. It doesn't get more old school than this place. If you're hankering for some old-fashioned atmosphere some good food and some fine people then don't hesitate to visit this place. Tell them James sent you.

The best breakfast ever

Atmosphere was very cool and different, but unfortunately the food wasn’t up to par. Very bland, pancakes were filled with raw dough and everything was simply overpriced. Simple breakfast plate with eggs, breakfast meat and toast was 20 dollars.

Service was good. Breakfast food was ok. The French Toast sandwich was ok. Would go back for a cheap meal. Ambiance was old.

Wonderful foodstop close to Cupsogue Beach. I went back today for their chicken salad, which is yummy! My husband had the Cuban sandwich, which was also delicious! Just love this nostalgic luncheonette!

I loved this place; once, and it was a favorite of my young son. I recently came for breakfast with my granddaughter. The service is prompt and the place is cozy; however, if you are not making food with love, why bother? I don't need speed; just someone that knows food. I should not be the one informing the person in the kitchen that the oil needs to be changed. I told the waiter, not sure if he told the cook. Nor should I be the one instructing seasoning. We ordered simple chicken fingers and fries. Not good. One still needs to season this dish? I ordered the avocado toast with cheese melted on top. Not good. Ice cold quac taste...rather than a half a room temperature avocado as I expected. And it was ice cold even with the melted cheese. Simple dishes still require some love and seasoning!

As a long time resident of Westhampton Beach, I have usually frequented Bun and Burger for breakfast. After getting fed up with their surly attitude, rules, and soso fare, I decided to try Eckart’s. Wow! What a difference! Iced coffee refilled before you ask, B&B has a charge, extensive menu, deliciously prepared, friendly, efficient servers! All in all! Wow! Goodbye Bad&Burger, hellllooo Eckart s!
